A career in project management will lead you in providing District services to improve water quality, protect the environment, public health, and property.

Your skills in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will allow you to work with cutting edge technologies to produce above and below ground accurate maps of all MMSD assets for internal and external customers.

Your legal experience will lead you to researching and writing legal contracts, representing MMSD in legal matters, and lobbying for intergovernmental financing.

In Water Quality Management you will be using your environmental experience to participate in field sampling, monitoring point source pollution, and testing water quality samples from industrial locations, rivers and waterways, and Lake Michigan.

Your budget and accounting experience will engage you in effective financial planning and management and strive to limit growth in user charge billings and tax levy.

As part of the procurement team, you will assist in the procurement of goods and services, and maintain the Small Women Minority Business Enterprise (S/W/MBE) Program participation rate. You will work to continue the District's workforce development program to ensure that a diverse and qualified workforce exists for current and future capital projects.

As an employee within the Information Technology (IT) Department, you will work collectively with other staff members to manage information, data assets and processes, and ensure MMSD employees are equipped to perform their daily responsibilities.
