The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) seeks Resident Engineers (RE) to perform construction management duties for projects that are part of the $180 million annual Capital Improvement Program. The REs administer construction contracts for projects involving new construction, replacement and rehabilitation of the MMSD's watercourse, conveyance and water reclamation facilities.  These projects involve the implementation of cost effective solutions for sewerage and water quality issues within the District's boundaries.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related major and six to seven years of related experience in wastewater, sewer and watercourse.  Professional Engineer's registration required.  Proven construction management ability and a high degree of interpersonal and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to resolve conflict.  Experience related to Primavera and Microsoft Office Products highly desirable.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.  Residency within MMSD boundaries (which includes Milwaukee County excluding South Milwaukee) required within one year.

Salary: $69,054 – $98,022 DOQ ; competitive benefits package.
